New to class?
If you have never taken this form of Yoga, it can sometimes feel intimidating to try something new. I PROMISE you I teach all my classes for ALL levels and welcome folks to try something they may not know much about YET. With a little info here and my guidance, you will feel comfortable from the very beginning of your first class.
Some helpful information.

At the beginning of each class, feel free to come in a bit early to get settled into your space. Bring your own yoga mat and most like to lay a blanket over it and a second blanket to cover up with during relaxation. I have cushions to sit on and as we grow will add blankets. For now, please bring what you need to be comfy. Some folks even like to practice on sheepskins ( I will have mine so you can see if it's something you may like to look into getting. I have great resources for humane products.

Please leave your shoes on the rugs to the left and/or right of the door to keep our practice space as physically and energetically clean as possible.
-
Out of respect for those settling in - please keep voices at a very low volume/whisper before class. After class, is a GREAT way to catch up with friends and chat after sharing energy and space together in class.

Every week the movements and meditations will change. Some will be more difficult than others and you may be surprised which ones are on any given day. PLEASE HONOR YOUR BODY. I will guide you through modifications as a class if need be. The mind will fight with you- push past the nagging voice to quit as long as the body is physically safe. Discomfort and pain are two very different things and this practice will help you develop tools to accomplish more than you ever thought you could - mentally, physically and spiritually.

Ask questions!!!!! Never think anything that comes up is silly. We are all here to learn from each other. I stay after class to help any and all students who need it and if I don't have the answer, I will reach out to my network and get back to you with an answer.

I am here to support you. Thank you for being you.
